A House Called Home –
Poem by Rick Pyburn
I stand on ground through night and day
and
hold the sun and weather at bay
I hear you sing and
laugh and play
and keep you warm on winter’s
day
You fill my walls with warmth and love
I shelter
you from the rain above
The days without
you seem so long
and when you’re
here I am filled with song
I have watched your children from very small
to
all grown up and oh so tall
The seasons come and the
seasons go
and still I
stand against the blow
I am older now and a little worn
and need your help to
brace the storms
I wanted to share
what I have known
that I am a house
that you call home
So, if you want to give back for all the years
let Pyburn
and Sons help. We're always here
